Performance Graphs now added

I have been on my travels, other concerns intruded, but the results are now almost complete.
Please let me know if you spot any errors - 'final' results have been posted with minor corrections.

Records: Chris Parkes (1996) 6 h 17 min                     Sharon Gayter (1995) 7 h 44 min (50 mile course)

On a day when the Sheffield Wednesday game had been abandoned due to the weather - and even Matt was out for longer than 90 minutes!

Leading Male:  Matt Giles, Stourbridge RC (first outing) in a time a mere 4 seconds outside the record, despite the conditions (wet, muddy and windy).  Groomed by Jez (2005 and 2006 winner), who was on international duty in the USA

Individual Female: Sarah Ridgway, Eryri (second finish)  (read her Blogg)

Full results (includes retirements)   Split times now for the full event - regrettably delayed as work entailed was beyond time budget!

10-completions Award

In line with a tradition in LDWA events, an award has been introduced for completing the event 10 times. Awards have been made to Roy Varo, Henry Marston, Dave Carratt, Kerry Booth, Mick Cochrane, George Kay, Terry Griffiths, Andrew West, Chris Sanders, David Fox, Mick Marsters, Brian Harney, Ian O'Mara, Tom Hughes, Bob Berzins, Peter Simpson, Percy Wellor, Martin Gaynor, Barry Harrison, David Keward, Michael Collins, Kevin Uzzell and Malcolm Coles.  The awards are based on my records; please let me know if there is an error (contact information below). Names get spelled differently in different years (Steve or Stephen), ladies marry, and certain names have been duplicated, easy when there were two Nigel Robinsons in one year, more difficult when there were John Whites in different years, from different clubs (which is not decisive) but different DOB (which is).

Additional awards were made this year to Philip Gwilliam and John Cunnane.

That's a total of 25

20-completions Award

Roy Varo was the first to be presented an award for reaching 20 completions.

Retirements are included with main results

Message from Helen Hawley:

A very nice man who's name I don't know lent me a hat, t-shirt and dry pair of gloves at 25 miles (Harthill).  I still have them and would like to return them as if he is that generous on all trail runs he will never have any equipment!  I'm sure you will agree it is that supportive attitude that makes these kind of events so nice.

Helen: The ' nice man' has contacted me - I've e-mailed you

email me, henry@NOThmarston.co.uk, to claim lost items.

(you know the trick - delete the NOT if you are human!)

Take me to the Round Rotherham page, RHAC page, Henry's Home Page
