ROTHERHAM HARRIERS & AC
CHRISTMAS DAY HANDICAP RACE 2000
John Clarke showed us all a clean pair of heals to win the 113th
Christmas day race. John, who only took up running 10 years ago,
was in third at the half way mark but gradually worked his way
through the pack to take the chequered flag. Thanks go out to
Jim Brogan for doing a fine job with the handicapping once again.
On a personal basis the only things I would like answering are-
why did I run 40 minutes for a 10 km?, despite it being absolutely
freezing on Christmas day, why did Phil action man
Smales only wear his vest and shorts?, and what happened to John
Comrie? answers on a post card to
.. (Not sure who 'I' is)
